The London Magazine is very pleased to announce the shortlist for a brand new literary award in partnership with Collyer Bristow:

The London Magazine and Collyer Bristow Prize for a Debut Work of Fiction 2018

This is Memorial Device – David Keenan (Faber & Faber)
Darker with the Lights On – David Hayden (Little Island Press) 
Safe Mode – Sam Riviere (Test Centre) 
Sympathy – Olivia Sudjic (Pushkin Press) 

The London Magazine and Collyer Bristow Prize celebrates exceptional literary fiction, awarding a stand-out debut work of fiction published in the UK between January 1st 2017 and December 31st 2017.

The judging panel is chaired by Matthew Scott and comprises Suzi Feay, Houman Barekat, and Steven Heffer.

The winner of the prize will receive £1000, presented at a prestigious literary event held at the Collyer Bristow Contemporary Art Gallery.
