Dr. Burhan Al-Chalabi
is an Iraqi-born, British businessman. He came to the UK in the sixties, graduating from Imperial College with a PhD in Thermal Power Economics. He has always had a keen interest in the arts and was invited to be a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in 2005. Burhan is a writer and media analyst in both Arabic and English. A member of the international affairs think-tank, Chatham House, he was formerly an Academic Advisor to the United Arab Emirates. He is the founder and Chairman of the British-Iraqi Foundation.
